What This Site is All About
Karate the Japanese Way is a continually evolving and growing web-based project that supports, explores, celebrates, challenges, and discusses karate practices both in Japan and around the world. KTJW's primary mission is to be a meeting place for karate instructors and their students to better understand karate as both an art form and a system for self-defense. This site also explores Japanese life, culture, history, language, and what it is like to live as a Canadian expatriate in Groovy Nippon.
